Wordpress PHP Developer. (Queen and Spadina)

Toronto-based company seeking PHP developer to work on and build WordPress sites - 3 month position.

I am looking to add a word-press expert to my small team of Internet Marketers. The position is PART TIME, with a minimum of 1 day per week and has a view to becoming permanent and full time if desired. This may suit someone with a small business who is looking to move into office space.

We need someone with AMAZING word press skills to work in particular on 2 large websites. The wage is negotiable based on experience. We feel it's a good position for someone looking to learn more about internet marketing, SEO, Landing Page optimization and commercial websites.

You will be working in a warehouse-style, brick-and-beam building at Queen and Spadina. It's a 10 person office, very friendly and relaxed.

o 2 years building websites using WordPress as a CMS
o Have excellent knowledge of xHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, MySql
o Deep understanding of custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields
o Strong knowledge of the WordPress plugin API and experience writing plugins, write panels, admin panels and other custom features
o Strong communication skills, ability to meet deliverables on time, professionalism
o A good understanding of WordPress themeing
o Very strong overall PHP skills
o Experience with front end development using xhtml, css, jquery, ajax etc. . .
o Linux system administration
o An excellent, professional, work ethic.
o Be self motivated and able to work unsupervised
o Minimum 3 years working experience
